Today marks the release of Jayasurya's 46th film Cocktail. Speaking to galatta.com after watching the preview show, Jayasurya said, "As an actor and film buff, I am convinced this movie is very good. I have seen more films than I have acted in; the story is very strong and this great film is sure to be a big hit in Kerala and other centres. Most people who watched the preview in Chennai and Kochi appreciated and praised the film. I initially wanted to produce the film personally looking at the story and script. Cocktail was launched in the presence of Megastar Mammotty in April 2010."
In short, Cocktail is about why people come into each one's life. Why they come, what impressions they leave, how does that impact one's life. Music by Ratheesh is excellent.
The story is by Shyam Menon. The script and dialogues by Anoop Menon are sure to stay in viewers' hearts for long. Cocktail is directed by Arunkumar, who edited many of Priyadarshan's films, including Kanchivaram.
Jayasurya, Samvrutha Sunil and Anoop Menon are the main cast in Cocktail, which promises to be worth watching, leaving an impression in our hearts.
Following the senior stars of the industry like Mammootty, Mohanlal and Dileep, young actor Jayasuriya is also turning a movie producer. He will be teaming up with Anoop Menon to produce the new movie titled ‘Cocktail’. The movie which is to be directed by Arunkumar (the editor of Priyadarshan films including ‘Kanchivaram’), will also feature both the actors as its protagonists. Arun and his actor producers are looking for either Mamtha or Priyamani to don the heroine role. ‘Cocktail’ will have the music by Alphonse and the film is expected to start in the month of May.Actor Jayasurya debut as a producer through the movie Cocktail. Jayasurya is also doing an important role in this movie. Directed by Arunkumar this movie features Anoop Menon, Jaysurya and Samvrutha Sunil in leading roles. Alphonse will be doing the music for this movie.
